The first ever "Conversation on Africa @Rotman" will be held on November 18, 2016 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in the Centre Lounge, Room 287, Rotman School of Management Career, 105 St George Street, Toronto.
This event is hoted by the Rotman African and Caribbean Business Association (RACBC), and the subject of this first conversation is "From Wall Street to Building an Investment Bank and Businesses in Africa". It will feature Charles Field-Marsham, Founder and President of Kestrel Capital Management.
Charles is one of Canada's most distinguished entrepreneurial businessmen and philanthropists and he will speak about his 20 years of international business and investment experience. Charles began his career in investment banking in New York, then went on to found an investment bank in Kenya. Today, Charles owns companies that employ approximately 1,000 people with offices in Canada, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and Dubai.
"Conversations on Africa @Rotman" is a speaker series initiated by the RACBC and aims to build greater awareness and understanding about business and investment opportunities on the economically emerging continent of Africa.
