The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business 18th Annual Mining Breakfast and MineAfrica's 15th Annual Investing in African Mining seminar with Premier Sponsor SGS and Corporate Sponsor Webber Wentzel took place on Tuesday March 7 at The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. The sold-out breakfast - the biggest African mining event in North America - featured an opening address by Issa Dominique Konaté - Special Mining Advisor to the President, Republic of Burkina Faso and a keynote address by John Dorward, President and Chief Executive Officer, Roxgold Inc., debunking the myths of mining in Africa, followed by presentations by African Mining Ministers, mining companies, and advisors to the mining industry in four concurrent seminar rooms.
