Bruce Shapiro, President of MineAfrica and the Canada- Southern Africa Chamber of Business, participated in an inaugural meeting of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to present his proposed formula on striking a balance between the interests of investors and host nations
As one of the founders of the business development company MineAfrica, Bruce stated that both investors and the jurisdiction would want to benefit from an investment relationship. He believes that this formula allows investors a minimum return on investment (ROI), which is sufficient for them to invest in a country, given its risk profile over the life of the investment.
