"The Space Between" is a coming of age story through a historical and cross cultural lens.
A young boy in South Africa longs to reunite with his childhood sweetheart in Canada before the space between them separates them forever. Inspired by actual events, the play explores the universal themes of 'distance' and 'space'.
MOONEY ON THEATRE wrote: "The writing is eloquent. It is full of warmth and insight into the heartbreak and joy of someone who has experienced and overcome adversity." The play is written and performed by Simeon Taole, called by NOW Magazine "an up and coming bona fide triple threat". The production incorporates video projection and original music in a heartfelt and humorous show.
