June 20, 2014 - The Chamber held a seminar and panel discussion on "Innovative Financing for the Global Mining Industry in Challenging Times on June 18 in Toronto. Ninety-five participants learned from expert advisors and mining companies during the informative and interactive session. Key topics covered included royalties/streams, private equity and pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and SOEs, commodity-linked debt, preferred share instruments, convertibles, off-take financing, joint ventures and crowd funding. The afternoon wrapped up with a networking cocktail reception.
