The Canada-Southern Africa Chamber of Business held its 14th Risk Mitigation & CSR seminar for the second time in London, UK on October 31, 2014.  Fifteen presenters representing mining companies, CSR experts and advisors covered a range of topics as varied as the issues surrounding CSR including dealing with the Ebola situation in West Africa, the business value of building social trust, trends in bribery and corruption, and managing country risk.

The Premier Sponsor for the seminar was Hatch.  Herbert Smith Freehills LLP was a Partner and hosted the full-day event. Other partners included the Association of Mining Analysts, MineAfrica and On the Ground Group (organizers of mineLatinAmerica).
